Privacy Policy

The short version: your files never leave your device. All PDF processing on ofyz happens inside your browser. We have no servers that receive, store, or even see your documents — there is nothing to leak, sell, or subpoena.

Your files

Every tool on ofyz — editing, merging, splitting, converting, optimizing — runs locally in your browser. When you open a file, it is read from your disk into your browser's memory only. It is never uploaded, and closing the tab removes it from memory. We cannot access your documents and never could.

What we store on your device

ofyz keeps a few preferences in your browser's local storage: your theme choice (light/dark) and, if you activate one, your license key. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

What we collect

We do not require accounts and do not collect names, emails, or documents. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data needed to serve the site — IP addresses and request logs — and provides us aggregate, privacy-preserving analytics (page views, country, browser type) that do not use cookies and cannot identify you.

Advertising

ofyz is free and supported by advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads and measure their performance; personalized ads use them to reflect your interests. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and control ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will see a consent message before any personalized advertising loads, with an equal option to decline. Declining shows non-personalized ads instead. Advertising scripts have no access to the files you work on — those never leave your device regardless of your consent choice.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is typically nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. For anything related to advertising data, the controls above apply. If you believe we hold personal data about you or have any privacy question, contact us and we will respond promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above is updated. Material changes will be noted on the site.
